A Calaveras County (Calif.) vice-principal,
Robert E. Rappleye Jr., 61, was arrested
recently on suspicion of assault with a deadly
weapon, Angels Camp police officials said.
His alleged weapon? A golf club. On July 13,
Rappleye became frustrated by slow play. A
husband and wife in the group approached
Rappleye to talk about it. Witnesses say the
husband became angry when Rappleye used
foul language directed to the husband’s wife.
