Europe could field a “B” team that would beat

Speaking of running out of gas, Jason
Dufner, the world’s hottest player in May,
finally came up empty late at Colonial Sunday.
Zach Johnson, ever the terrier, was there to
pick up the pieces and his second win in three
years at Hogan’s Alley.
Johnson’s one-shot margin of victory would
have been three but for a two-shot penalty
on the 72nd hole incurred when he failed to
replace his ball marker that he had moved to
get out of Dufner’s line.
