R11S Tuned In To Adjustability

Increased adjustability is the most compelling aspect of the new TaylorMade R11S driver,
and this bomber can be tuned in three different
areas. One is the rotating hosel, which has eight
possible options of lie and loft/face angles, so
golfers may more precisely fit their drivers to
their games as they look to enhance their
accuracy and distance.
Another involves the two movable weights
in the back of the 460cc clubhead, so that the
Center of Gravity (CG) may be shifted to alter
trajectory as needed. Then, there is the soleplate that may be manipulated into five different positions. Taken together, those features
allowed players to tune the latest TaylorMade
driver for 80 possible settings. That’s why company technicians describe the R11S as the most
adjustable driver in golf.
They are quick to add, however, that adjustability is only part of the R11S story. The head
of this driver, which comes with a flat-white
crown and a black PVD face, is slightly bigger
