PING i20TM
PING chose Project X Black as one of only two stock
options in addition to its own shaft for the i20 driver,
woods and hybrids because it’s a good fit for players
seeking premium performance at ultralight weights.

reduce drag for maximizing clubhead speed and ball
velocity, which gives you longer, more accurate tee

Project X Black
The new Project X Black features reduced weight
from the original Project X graphite for explosive
power while preserving critical tip stability and low
spin performance.
“We designed Project X Black using our proprietary
Dual Torsional Control,” said Don Brown, product
development manager for Project X. “This technology
pairs an advanced carbon flat weave, TeXtreme™,
with super high modulus graphite torsional plies to
create the most stable lightweight composite shaft
ever created.”
Project X Black reduces spin rates at impact for
optimized peak trajectory with flatter descent angles
for maximum carry and roll.
