Teenager Ricky Kato, from New South
Wales, held on to win the Tasmania Open Golf
Championship Sunday at Country Club
Tasmania in Australia.
The 17-year-old took a four-stroke lead
into the final round over Western Australia’s
New South Wales, represented by Drewitt
and Daniel Bringolf, collected the two-man
team trophy, the Don Cameron Shield.

HILLIER WINS WOMEN’S RIVERSDALE CUP
Earlier in the week at Riversdale, National
Squad members Jaimee Dougan and Ashley
Ona teamed up to win the Australian Women’s
Foursomes Championship.
The Queensland pair led with a 2-under-par
71 in the morning round and shot an afternoon
1-over-par 74 to finish at 1 under and win by
one stroke from the Western Australian pair
Tatiana Wijaya and Alyssa Keir in second place
at even par.
