As a freshman, Anne-Catherine Tanguay competed in all 11 tournaments for the
University of Oklahoma. Tanguay compiled a 75.52 stroke average, recorded three
top- 15 finishes, and posted the lowest three-round total of any freshman in
Sooner history when her 2-under 214 earned third place at the Susie Maxwell
Berning Classic. Already this season Tanguay, No. 256 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking, has posted a top- 10 finish and shaved nearly two strokes off
her average (73.58). The future is definitely bright for this young Boomer Sooner.
