KOHALA COAST, HAWAII | I have played seven
courses in five days, and enjoyed every round.
Good as the golf has been, however, it is the
last thing on my mind as I settle into a potent
rum drink at the Beach Tree Bar & Grill at the
Four Seasons Hualalai Resort, listening to palm
fronds rattle gently in the trade winds. A number
of things roll around in my mind that compete
with a Big Island sunset over the Pacific. A
