It didn’t take long for Niclas Carlsson to make an impact at Auburn University.
In his first season, Carlsson became the first Tigers’ freshman since 1988 to earn
medalist honors when he won the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate thanks to
rounds of 64-68-70 (- 8). Now in his sophomore season, Carlsson, No. 95 in the
World Amateur Golf Ranking, has recorded two top 20s in his first three events
and is proving to be an integral part of the Auburn men’s golf team.
