James Evans White Jr., has been very busy this summer. White, No. 22 in
the World Amateur Golf Ranking, started with a T8 finish at the Sunnehanna
Amateur in Pennsylvania. He followed that with a runner-up showing at the
Northeast Amateur and, just recently, White posted a T5 finish at the Players Amateur, a tournament he finished second in last year. White has also
enjoyed a solid collegiate career at Georgia Tech University. Last year, he was
named a first-team All-American, thanks to a Junior season that included
nine top- 10 finishes and two victories.
