J.J. Spaun may be one of the best golfers you’ve never heard of. At No. 17 in
the World Amateur Golf Ranking, the San Diego State junior has cemented his
position in the top tier of amateur golf. His most recent success came at this
year’s U.S. Amateur Public Links where Spaun advanced to the quarterfinals
before losing to Harris English 2 and 1. He also finished T3 in the 2011 NCAA
Division I Men’s Golf Championship and posted a T20 at the Sunnehanna
Amateur earlier this summer.
