In just two years at the University of Washington, Chris Williams has estab-
lished himself as one of the best golfers in program history. The junior has
amassed three victories (one short of equalling the all-time best career total
by a Huskie), 13 top-10s (fourth most in school history), and owns two of the
top-five single-season stroke averages in team history. Williams, No. 25 in the
World Amateur Golf Ranking, was in the field last month at Congressional CC
for the U.S. Open. And two weeks ago, he won the Sahalee Players Champion-
ship in Sammamish, Wash.
