It is tradition at The Players Championship to fly the flag
of the tournament winner’s country over the Circle of
Champions for a year. South Africa’s Tim Clark, who won
the 2010 event, asked the PGA Tour to take his nation’s flag
down a week early and replace it with the Spanish flag to
honor Hall of Famer Seve Ballesteros, who died on May 7.
