Tain Lee has had quite a journey over the past year. After winning the Division
III National Championship as a sophomore at Claremont McKenna College, he
accepted a scholarship to play golf for the University of California-Berkeley.
But Lee, ranked No. 538 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, didn’t stay long
and returned to CMC for his junior year. Just recently, Lee was invited to the
Western Refining College All-American Golf Classic, which features the nation’s top returning collegiate golfers. Lee will be the sixth Division III invitee
in the event’s 36-year history.
