During a break in last week’s European Challenge Tour
Egyptian Open last week, world No. 9 Rory McIlroy was
the first player to be given the honor of hitting golf balls
in the shadows of the great Pyramids of Giza in Cairo.
“Three years ago, I would never have dreamt I’d be able
to do something like this – it’s just really cool,” said the
21-year-old from Northern Ireland.
