Lion Kim played lights out ... literally ... at this summer’s U.S. Amateur Public
Links. Kim, No. 43 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, sank a six-footer for
par in the dark to become the first Korean-born player to win the champion-
ship. Now entering his senior year at the University of Michigan, Kim looks to
continue his strong collegiate career that has included six top-10s, a T13 at
the 2009 NCAA Championship and a Division I Ping All-American honorable
mention as a sophomore.
