While ascending the walkway towards the
recorder's cabin, Padraig Harrington stopped
momentarily. First he kissed his wife, Caroline,
then the Wanamaker Trophy, which happened
to be on a table to her left. He then kissed baby
Ciaran before embracing his mother, Breda,
who stood there silently, almost bemused at
what this great son of hers had just achieved.
