When you think of top Colombian golfers, the first name that comes to mind
is Camilo Villegas, but the second should be Diego Velasquez. This season he
finished fourth individually in the NCAA Championship, set a single-season
scoring record for Oregon State with a 70.31 average and became the first golfer
in program history to earn first-team All-American honors. The 22-year-old has
vaulted 26 spots in the World Amateur Golf Ranking to No. 35.

Had to pull out of French Open after one round with a
strained wrist. Ice and rest is the remedy. Will be back for
the British Open.

@Paulmahoneygolf
Olazabal’s comeback in French Open sadly doesn’t quite go
to plan. He shoots 82 and is dead last. Posts a 9 on par 4
18th, too. Ouch!
