Cydney Clanton has never taken her foot off the gas pedal. Now a junior at Auburn
University, Clanton burst onto the scene as a freshman when she was named both a
National Golf Coaches Association First Team All-American and NGCA Freshman of
the Year. From there it only got better as she posted multiple victories and numer-
ous top 10s as well as being named to the All-SEC First Team twice. Clanton also
has played in two LPGA major championships, the 2008 U.S. Open and last week’s
Kraft Nabisco Championship.
